Remember your light.Let it radiate.

You can become good at holding life together while losing touch with yourself. Responsibility, old hurts, and the need to be useful or accepted can leave little room for your own voice, joy, and creativity.

Yet the light within you remains precious, powerful, and unquenchable. I help people remember who they truly are, already deeply loved and bearing God's image, and find the courage to let that light radiate in every area of their lives.

Through writing, reflective practices, and meaningful conversations, I offer experiences and tools for recognizing familiar patterns, making clearer choices, and living with greater love, confidence, and creativity.

The Journey

What becomes possible when you remember

By light, I mean your God-given worth and your capacity for love, courage, creativity, and meaningful action. Fear, pain, expectations, and old protective habits can hide it or hold it back. They cannot put it out.

Remembering is practical. It shows up in the ordinary pressures and choices of a full life, especially when life is demanding, painful, or uncertain.

I

Know your worth

Meet a mistake, disappointment, or difficult season without turning it into a verdict on your value.

II

Recover your freedom

Recognize when fear, approval, or an old story is choosing for you, and make room for a more deliberate response.

III

Let your life express it

Speak honestly, receive care, create something meaningful, and bring more of yourself into your relationships and work.

In everyday life

Relationships

Ask for help, express what you want, and remain present when a conversation becomes difficult.

Work and creativity

Bring your voice into the room, begin something meaningful, and take a thoughtful risk.

Your relationship with yourself

Honor your limits, make room for enjoyment, and meet yourself with greater kindness.

The Approach

Receive. Reflect. Radiate.

A simple rhythm for living from the love already given to you, whatever your starting point or questions about faith.

Receive

Become available to the love, care, and life already reaching you.

Reflect

Notice what shapes your experience, listen with curiosity, and remember what is true about you.

Radiate

Let that recognition take form through your choices, relationships, creativity, and contribution.

Practices you can use

Notice

Recognize what your body is signaling and name what you feel.

Reflect

Question the story shaping your response and consider what the moment needs.

Choose

Pause, discern an appropriate response, and take one concrete step.

A moment to begin

Think of one place where you have been trying hard to prove yourself. What might you choose differently if your worth were already secure?

Coming soon

Lanterns of Love: Seeing God in All Things is a natural way to begin exploring this invitation. It combines personal stories with practices you can use in your relationships, decisions, and ordinary days.

Each chapter closes with a small practice, so what you recognize on the page has a place to take root in your life.

Read an excerpt

The flame is not the lantern. The flame is the reason the lantern exists. Everything else, the metal, the glass, the hinge, and the handle, exists in service of the light. The lantern is a vessel through which the flame can be carried, allowing its light to reach beyond itself and illuminate the world around it.

The same is true of us. There is a flame in you, a light you did not create and do not have to earn. It is the love of God made present in you, taking on a particular expression through the person you are. Your life is not a journey toward finding this light somewhere outside of yourself or becoming worthy enough to possess it.

The flame is already there.

Meet Josh

Hi, I'm Josh.

For much of my life I tried to earn what I already had. Some of my clearest lessons in love came in seasons when the life I had built began to fall apart, and through friends who refused to let me walk alone.

I am still learning to live what I write about. I forget, react, and begin again. What I offer is not a finished map. It is the experience, practices, and honest conversation that keep helping me find my way back to the light, and that I hope can help you find yours.

I love helping people discover that their presence matters and that they have something particular to bring into the world.
